One possible scenario: Zelos has been harboring feelings for Lloyd for a very long time.  Lloyd has feelings for Zelos, but he hasn’t sorted them out yet.  Zelos respects this and deliberately keeps things casual until Lloyd figures things out. I can see a confused Lloyd perhaps responding to mixed signals and leaning in for a smooch.   But, to his surprise, Zelos STOPS him.   Zelos would then explain that there is no way he could get involved with Lloyd casually.  Lloyd would misunderstand at first, but Zelos continues to explain- Lloyd isn’t like the girls he’s fooled around with before.  He cares too much about Lloyd to ruin their friendship, so it’s all or nothing.   This finally clicks for Lloyd, who then smiles and tells Zelos that he loves him, too.  He says it so easily that Zelos is stunned to silence.  Lloyd tries again, and this time Zelos doesn’t stop him.  This would be some time after the original game, but before the sequel.   Uh, I may write a oneshot fic or something later, but a drawing is all you get for now.
